jag är _nästan_ säker på att det är ett modem från ZTE. Försök hitta ett Huawei då är det störst chans att det funkar. Jag vet att TWK har testat rätt många olika Huawei. Det är ett jättejobb att göra en kompabilitetslista. Man får helt enkelt köpa ett modem, försöka läsa ut vem som är tillverkare. I vissa fall låsa upp det (finns lite obskyra program för detta) och sen kolla om det finns stöd.

 

Det funkar utan problem i min dator med Linux om det kan vara till hjälp ?

 

@Everyone: Thanks for the reports! Unfortunately I slipped up this time. 3G dongle support is broken in both 006b and 007-beta2. I was working on a version of MidSettings.apk with bluetooth settings support when lightning took out my build server, and the wrong version of the .APK got included. These releases are broken and should not be used. Sorry

Please get the fixed versions below, 006c & 007-beta3. For 007-beta3, there's also a fix for Betterterm installation (installation file wouldn't get deleted properly in 007-beta2). Otherwise no changes.

No, sorry I looked at it, but it takes a bit of scripting (this partition is actually not defined in HWDEF/parameters as I stated earlier). As my dev server is still broken development is currently halted. I ordered a new PSU, hoping the data will still be there once I can power it up again.

 

beta3: IP connection with Huawei 1552 does not work. It worked with beta1. Now the network logging happens OK and data connection will be created but no network streaming occurs.

Have you tried it with 006c (basically the same, but without userhook and hence without Tomo123's tweaks) ?

You could also try renaming userhook.sh to userhook.tmp or whatever, reboot and try again. (Just connect tablet to PC and rename the file as usual, on the built in flash disk).

I don't know why the tweaks would interfere and it may very well be something else, but it would be of much help to me to have it pinpointed, if possible.

Install alogcat from the market, start it and let it run in the background, then try to connect like always and try surfing.

When it fails, open up aLogcat, save the log and upload it so we can see what's causing the problem.

 

Actually, this is probably because of me, once again (how do you guys like my "snapshot releases" so far? *sigh*)

I just noticed G-sensor is broken as well, in both 006c and beta3. For me, chmod'ing a few /dev devices and restarting system_server fixed G-sensor. I can't test 3G dongles at the moment but probably this is fixed the same way. If anyone can confirm both issues are solved this way I'll post updates (006d and beta4 I guess..)

- Put the following lines at the end of userhook.sh:
chmod 0777 /dev/input/event1
chmod 0777 /dev/input/event2
chmod 0777 /dev/input/event3
chmod 0777 /dev/mma7660_daemon

- Reboot, and test G-sensor and 3G-dongle.

G-sensorn fungerar inte för mig men 3g fungerar fint med e1820.

Det skulle vara kul om man kunde få till en webkamera så kunde man använda den som backvarnare när man ska lägga på släp eller husvagn

Skönt att höra att 3G funkar åtminstone trots allt, tack för rapporten! Jag har testat G-sensorn nu i de versioner jag länkar till i detta inlkägget, och där funkar det åtminstone (vet inte varför du inte fick det att funka via userhooken faktiskt..)

Haha.. klockren funktion Tyvärr skulle det vara väldigt mycket jobb, och dessutom bara support för specifika modeller.

Skaffa någon kamera för t ex övervakning istället som kör över wifi och dra igång ett wifi-nät i bilen. Sedan är det bara att surfa in på kamerans web-interface

Help - Old Topic

Kendo + Beta4, MiniTool Partition.
It appears that App2SD has vanished, anyway Installed Link2SD and followed steps 1 and 2; created Fat32 then ext3 on a 8GB card, set both to primary and ext3 to 2GB because I wanted to move the apk's to this disk. Link2SD says second partition not found.. I have wiped the disk at leat 10 times and recreated 2 primary partitions no joy. Even tried haviing 2 Fat32's and a Ext3 (all primary).

Should I be doing something in the user hook file (really don't like playing with this).
Wonder if my Kendo a Monday moring machine as I still can't get my Telia E1750 to work. Or as they say it could be 'skit bakom spaken'

Any ideas would be helpfull.

 

Remove all partitions from SDCARD. Create a primary FAT32 partition first, then primary EXT3 after it.

1. create folder "sdext3" in /data/ so it looks like:

/data/sdext3

2. add line in userhook ( or run it in terminal ):

mount -o noatime,nodiratime -t ext3 /dev/block/mmcblk0p2 /data/sdext3;

Link2SD should work.

Tried this on several sd's with the same results . Been sitting here half the night.....and last night / morning....

What I did notice was that I powered off and put the card in powered on again, when I checked the settings for the sd card, it was not mounted. I removed the card with power on and re-inserted, it then showed up and gave the correct size of FAT32. I tried to create the folder in /data (I assume you ment the internal disk) - ES file explorer gave a message sorry can't do that..
so no sdext3 folder created.

Just now I am getting errors on Market, Market process 'com.android.vending' has stopped unexpectedly. I am going to re-install Beta4 again, and go and get some sleep

 

Is your tablet rooted? Did you install Superuser from the Market? Why didn't you use Root Explorer?

You cannot create that folder without superuser permissions and a file manager that supports those permissions.

Is it rooted - I can not say, I am using TWK_ Beta4, so I assume it is ??
No, superuser is installed with Beta4. I had tried to download Speed Softwares Root explorer but everytime I selected credit card payment I got an error message same as before

"Process com.android.vending stop working force close".

I also get te same message when saving an attached file from ordinary email. So I reinstalled the beta4 becasuse I thought it was something I had done - no change same error messages.

So I wondered if it was my Kendo, or something I was doing.

 

Did you try commenting out TCP tweaks? Also,did you save any logs so we can see where specifically the error lies?

Really strange... I see no reason why these tweaks would mess up 3g... they are general TCP speed tweaks. But, if they cause problems, you can always remove them.
