Answer:
Nightly build according to Wikipedia....

Basically a daily (oh, well - nightly) sync & build of the source code to implement changes/additions to the code in the rom.

If you're using Cyanogenmod on a more "frequently" supported device (it's been a bit so-so with "official builds for the Light recently - that's why Kallt_Kaffe is providing updates once in a while) like for example HTC Desire there's an update to the rom that you can download more or less every night with small improvements/changes added.

Question to the devs:

Maybe it's just me but I'm not sure I understand if this can be installed onto a Light/V9 where the partition layout's been changed or if we need to revert to the original layout?

- Could be interesting to add that to to the original post.

 

You should revert to original layout or your device will be bricked

Incremental upgrade or wipe?

Full wipe NEEDED

 

Installed over alpha 6, did not wipe anything. Installed ok.
Except green power light on all the time.
But after 1 reboot the green light went off.
And swedish as language included.
Does that mean no translation needed by me?
