CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4 (KitKat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

- are running a custom kernel
- have flashed mods
- modified system files

Instructions
If you come from another ROM :
- Make sure you run CWM or TWRP recovery. Follow instructions in the specific threads on XDA.
- Download the zip (see Downloads)
- Download Gapps (PA gapps for example)
- Install the update zip from recovery
- Install gapps
- WIPE DATA/FACTORY RESET
- Reboot
- Enjoy !
Upgrading from earlier version of CyanogenMod 11:
- Copy CM11 ZIP to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash CM11 zip from SDCard
- Reboot
Upgrading from CyanogenMod 10/10.1/10.2:
- Read known issues ans FAQs
- Copy GApps and CM10.2 ZIPs to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash CM10.2 zip from SDCard
- Flash GApps zip from SDCard
- Wipe data, we're not sure if everything will work yet.
- Reboot

EDIT: I'll post a new build tomorrow, with a small surprise. What is it? All I'm going to say is that I've spent some time today fixing the last few issues of Focal I hope to have the repos going official tomorrow. Other than that, root will be fixed, home button will be fixed, and storage should be fixed.

Jo kör denna som daily! Jävligt smooth och snabb men det är ju som sagt en experimental så det finns en del problem. Som med SMS och så!

Någon som vet vad överraskningen är? Är ju trots allt "nästa dag" nu.


Edit: Har inte kommit någon edit i originalposten så antar att det inte uppdaterats än..

 

Ny build är ute! Med nya kameraappen focial!

Edit: Finns tydligen problem med PlayStore som inte fungerar samt att det interna minnet inte går att komma åt förutom i Recovery.

Edit 2: Ny build med fix för minnet kan komma senare idag.

 

Väntar några builds innan jag flashar..

 

@bvb Kan du se på något sätt om det finns stöd för Bluetooth LE?

Gött men är det några ordentliga buggar som gör att den inte passar för dagligt bruk?

 

Jo. PlayStore fungerar inte, plus att det interna minnet inte känns igen, därav problemet med PlayStore. Sen är det problem med Superuser också, lite småproblem med kameran också, sen en del visuella glitchar.

Rekomenderar att man inte installerar CM10.2 än.

 

vet inte riktigt varför men jag är inne på xda tråden flera gånger per dag för att se om de släppt ett nytt bygge

Blir att lägga in så fort de löst minnes problemen

 

Haha samma här! Förhoppninsvis så släpper Xplodwild en build ikväll eller imorgon!

Det går genom ett fulhack att lösa minnesproblemen genom att mixa builden från den 17 och 30, men är inget att rekomendera!
