Fråga: Hur många av er har ljus baby blå toning på alla vinklar utom framifrån?

Hej jag har just köpt en galaxy s 2, telefonen är nu jag har inte vågat använda den, för att min display är ljus baby blå i alla vinklar utom framifrån, mot en vit bakgrund. jag vill veta om det ska vara så eller om det är något fel på min display.

Om det ska vara så vill jag börja använda telefonen annars måste jag ju skicka tillbaka den.

Jag vore tacksam om någon kunde svara mig detta. Ni är ju en del som har galaxy s 2 här. mvh /wolfie

 

Jag har samma fundering på min nyinköpta S2a. Så fort det är en vit bakgrund blir allt väldigt blått. Min är dock blå färgad i alla vinklar så fort det är mycket vitt på bakgrunden.

 

Hey, i have a samsung galaxy s2 and just like some of you i had been struggling to get a proper phone with no overheating and the weird blue tint on the screen when you view the screen from different angles, i have noticed very few galaxy s2 without this blue shifting problem when viewed the screen from another side and i can explain why at 5):

1) Ive swapped my phone 2 times now, the first, the second, the third and the manager phone all reproduce this issue, the screen looks just fine when viewed straigth but if you try to view it from another angle the screen will turn a bit to blue, it is most noticeable in white backgrounds.
Since i have tested 4 random phones with exactly the same problem i can confirm this "feature" as normal.

2) All of my three phones have blurring issues when in motion, you can clearly see it when the text is white and the background is black, altough this blurring is very small compared to the top of the line LCD screens its still there on all 3 phones so i can confirm this as normal.

3) The 2 phones i had all had random overheating issues, this must have something to do with either a design flaw or lack of quality in programming the OS for the phone, this is also normal for your phone to happen as it happened in the last 3 of mines, the only way ive found to avoid this issue is simply exit all applications, clear memory ram and then start the app, this semms to prevent my phone to reaching insane levels of heat.

4) The speaker quality of the phone is at best, average, when the volume is set to max, some sounds like "pure tone" will distort just a bit, its very dissapointing in a phone this expensive, but then again samsung cannot be compared to sony in that area, i can also confirm this as normal.

5) The phones ive seen which did not have the blue tint issues when the phone is viewed from other angles had another problem when compared to the ones that actually did: The phone that did have blue tint issues, when viewed directly has very good Whites while the phone which does not have the blue tint issues when viewed from another angles even when looked at it directly it already has a shade of blue, so that might explain why this problem wasnt detected in that phone.

6) When you view in a browser some images, you will notice that on your left corner of the screen there is a white pixel, dont worry, it is not a dead pixel, to confirm this all u need to do is to view the picture horizontaly, notice how the white pixel changed sides with the top left corner?
According to BarriH_GEG, It's there to keep a service alive in support of hardware acceleration in the stock browser. They chose white because the majority of web pages are white or lighter colors

7) Poor wifi conectivity while holding the back of the phone with both hands, it happened in all 3 of my phones aswell, this is also probably normal.

8) The screen displays a slight shift of color at the left side of the screen, its very hard to notice but its there, people refer to it as "yellow tint", for more information please visit this thread:

Thanks to: Sp1tfire for letting me know about this issue, i cannot confirm if this issue is normal or not for all phones as ive only done this test on my third phone (which also semms to slightly change hue a bit in that thread OP website, its almost unoticeable but its there).

9) When viewing white objects with the camera on low to medium light condition there is a pink circle noticed in the middle of the picture, i havent tested this with all 3 phones but from i can tell in this thread it happens on all of them:

10) A bit less significant but still noteworthy: if you change your brightness setting in a dark room or area from auto to manual and put it at max, exit the brightness setting and try to put it back to automatic, you will notice that its stuck at max even though it should drop it alot, to fix this all you need to do is to flash a light source at the upper front side of your phone and then take it away, it will now work again.

Notes: If the phone is viewed directly and has a blue tint on it, it is broken, if it displays of red tint or yellow tint its also broken and you should trade it if it bothers you, make sure to scan for dead pixels by using full screen images of blues, reds, greens, black and white. If the image is pure to those colors and theres 1 or more pixel displaying something differently that means the phone has dead pixels and should be also swapped.

Hope this helps some people to not waste their time like i did, i feel a bit disapointed because my first phone apparently had nothing wrong with it, so at least i can help you not to make the same mistakes as i did.

After swapping my phone 2 times and finding these issues, i would surelly want to trade it for an alternative! but unfortunatelly reality came to me everytime the shop manager asked: "Do you want the same model or a different one?" Then it made me think, what model? Sure Xperia Arc and Play are cool phones, but they dont come even close to the performance of this phone and honestly none other dual core phones have OLED screen and even compared to those this phone is alot better in performance, so i came to realise there was really no choice, if i wanted the best in performance and the best in image quality then this phone was, is and will be the answear for time to come.
These issues do not bother me very much as my third phone is still a galaxy s2 but every person is different, if it bothers you that much then in the end you can always think of the future and what phones it reserves, if you want the best in performance and image quality right now then this phones is the answear.

Random overheat är knappast normalt. Varken jag eller tre av mina polare har det problemet.

 

Tror många misstar överhettning med hög värme.

SGS2 kan gå varm utan att det är farligt.

Vettetusan om jag läst om mer än 2st som rent slagits av.

Min blir väldigt svagt blå vid vinklar.
Jag ser det endast mot vit bakgrund.

Det är inget jag hakar upp mig på.

tänkte på det ibland från början .
vet inte om det är mindre nu med annan rom än tidigare ..

Testa ändra till varmt färgläge

 

Min blir svagt grön-blå. Men den blir det från alla håll.
Bryr mig inte heller nu.
