1- The Atheer One is an accessory to your Android phone. You connect it through the micro-USB port. Any Android phone by a well known manufacturer (Samsung, LG, Motorolla, HTC,...) made after 2011 works.

2- It will be able to show you an Android tablet that is 26" HD and is floating at around 50cms away from your face. Of course, you can touch that tablet in the air. All Android apps (there are 1 million apps) can be downloaded and used just like a regular Android tablet. Our "air touch" technology has been shown in public on one of the most prestigious technology conferences: The Wall Street Journal’s AllThingsD D11 .

3- The external lenses that ship with it are see-through, and so you will be able to see the tablet floating on top of your environment. The lenses are exchangeable, and we are planning to produce opaque lenses for applications where you don't want to see the environment (videos, gaming, ...)

4- You can connect to your PC over remote desktop. There are many Android apps that support that, and we have actually already tested some of them. This will allow you to get your PC applications to float in front of you.

5- You can connect to devices over Bluetooth and Wifi. This includes keyboards, joysticks, your smart wrist band, or anything that you can pair with your Android phone.

6- Developers will be able to create new 3D apps that will take the experience to a whole new level. Our SDK/API allows developers to create more engaging games and more useful applications.

 

Häftigt helt klart. De är lite av ett mellanting mellan Oculus Rift och Google Glass.

Jag reagerade på att glasögonen ska kopplas till micro-USB-porten. Det betyder att man ska ha en sladd dinglande från glasögonen och ner till telefonen.
De är rejält fula, men det kommer så klart förbättras över tid.

Just nu så tror jag att de bara har en framtid för spel och nöje och möjligtvis när man jobbar. Inte för att användas kontinuerligt och medan man rör på sig. Där passar Google Glass betydligt bättre eftersom de inte är framför ögonen hela tiden.

 

Ja de kräver sladd men det ska bli kul och se hur de här står sig mot tex google glass. De är både dyrare och har mycket mindre bildskärm. Tror inte du kan tex spela med google glass? Tycker de här ser mycket bättre ut tekniskt sett.
