Yes the battery takes some time to get best. I now have around 13h screen on time but 10h+ is impressive:)

Manual is always better. Afyer maybe some hours of testing in differemt lights you willknow what you have to do to make the picture that is good...

Xperifirm is an good appilication! It checks all the official updates in different regions and you make your own FTF in that way :)
Flashing official ftf without root will allow you to update in future sony ota updates :)
