Har kommit över en intressant kommentar på youtube som beskriver skillnaden på EU-versionen av kugoo S1 och de ryska modellerna S1,2,3:
”
Geekbuying S1 is not in anyway comperable to Russian S1 S2 or S3. It is a mix of S2 and S3. There are lots of differences:
1.
Geekbuying S1 has a rear break light, Russian S1 or S2 didn't have it, but S3 has it.
2.
Geekbuying S1 has the same front shock absorber as Russian S3 (for S1 or S2 Russians had to buy special octagon sleeves to make it work)
3.
Geekbuying S1 Motor wheel and battery is the same as in Russian S2. Russian S3 has more power and mileage.
4. Battery in
Geekbuying S1 fits tightly in the deck, like in Russian S3 - in old Russian S1 and S2 it rattled (jumped) inside the deck and broke because of that. Anyway, I still disassembled the deck, took the battery out it and put some kitchen sponge cut into 1cm pieces just to be sure that it really fits tightly.
5. Russian S1 or S2 didn't have a footstand.
Geekbuying S1 has a footstand. 6. Folding system often broke in Russian S1 and S2.
Geekbuying S1 has the same folding as Russian S3 - improved.
7. Motor wheel wires in Russian S1 and S2 were getting worn after about 100km and the scooter broke because of that. In
Geekbuying S1 it is fixed. Russian S1 was first manufactured and sold in 2016, but now it's not possible to buy it anywhere. In Russian market it was replaced by improved S2 and S3. Motor wheel on my Kugoo S1 bought in
Geekbuying was manufactured in 2018 november 05, the date is written on the wheel, so it's pretty new. European version is different, so no, it's not an old outdated version that they are trying to sell again in Europe. I'd say it's a fresh start of Kugoo S1 in Europe with the same build quality as Russian S3 and same parameters as Russian S2.”
