Vi som importerat Huawei Mate 9 - orderstatus etc.

Nä man får ju bara 1 år så behåller nog min order från Tyskland.

 

Tittade precis på cyper. Just nu kostar den 699 Euro.
Känns inte heller som att proshop lägger på särskilt mycket om man jämför med dr telefoner som de säljer och andra säljare.
Känns ju klart bättte att köpa ifrån ett svenskt/danskt företag. Dock kass att vänta tills januari.

Värt att läsa ifall man funderar på att importera en Mate 9 China Version.

Warning to those considering importing the Mate 9 from China: From version B115, Google Services/Play Store cannot be installed/used.

This is a new thing with Huawei phones, and many Chinese resellers are advertising that they installed Google Play (they can't) so I figured a sort of public service announcement is necessary.

According to direct communication with resellers and the Chinese Huawei forum, an update to the Chinese version of the Mate 9 (MHA-AL00) has disabled Huawei's support for installing Google Play.

The way Huawei has done it up to now, is to have a de-activated Google Play Services installation in their phones sold in China, so that people who need it can download the play store from the Chinese app store. This GPS installation exists in the B109 edition of the firmware, but was removed from B115.

According to Chinese forums, the reason has to do with an order not to allow this from Google that Huawei followed through on. Speculation suggests that Huawei is trying to work out a way to re-introduce this, but there are no announcement or anything official saying that it will be re-introduced.

So what are your options if you want a Mate 9? The Chinese version is the only one with a 32GB option, and a 128GB option, and costs less than the international edition. If you're cool with 64GB, buy the European MHA-L29 or MHA-L09, and you'll have Google.

If you want the Chinese version, though, your options will be downgrading to B109 build (this has not yet been put anywhere publicly on the internet yet so it's not possible, and phones seem to be shipping with higher versions now), or unlocking your bootloader (sign up with a Huawei account on your phone, wait two weeks, then request the unlock code) and rooting. Since the phone is new, nobody has achieved this yet.

I will be active in the XDA forums working on a fix to this, and I think I will be able to find one. My phone will arrive to me within the next couple of days. But if you are looking for a stress-free experience, please re-consider importing the Mate 9 from China, until a solution to this is found. My first priority will be locating B109 on Huawei's servers so that people can downgrade and use Google services, before anything else. My backup plan is to reverse-engineer Huawei's proprietary recovery system to bypass security and allow the installation of the European firmware onto the Chinese device, but I can't confirm whether or not this will be do-able like it was with the Mate 8 until I get the device.

For those who can read Chinese (or feel like using Google/Bing to translate), this is the official Chinese Mate 9 forum, where the problem is heavily discussed, and is the most likely place for official comments from Huawei.

Går ju inte att se. Sajterna skriver ju inte ut vad det är för version ändå.

 

Om man laddar hem databladet som finns på sidan så är det det officiella databladet för den tyska versionen. Så de kan inte gärna sälja den kinesiska versionen och komma undan med det.

 

Såg att Amazon.de säljer den själva. Verkar som dom levererar till Sverige utan frakt med DHL också numera. Har handlat rätt så mycket prylar därifrån tidigare utan problem, den fanns dock inte i lager än. Funderar på dom för att vara ärlig.

Låter som ett bra alternativ. Det är alltså amazon själva som står för försäljningen?

Verkar för övrigt inte vara så många sidor i europa som fått in den. Det flesta (alla?) har enbart uppskattade datum. Ngt som vet mer om varför det dröjer?

 

Läste på XDA vissa som beställt från UAE och fått den levererad. Dem har den även i Gold och Mocca Brown. Det är Internationella Versionen men med Cust C185 vilket egentligen inte spelar så stor roll då det funkar normalt i Sverige. Är mest sugen pga färgen Mocca Brown som är riktigt snygg. Det jag är orolig över är tull avgifter?
