Det är inte bara Samsung och Sony som presenterar nya mobiler på IFA 2012 i Berlin. HTC vill inte vara sämre och presenterade idag Desire X, en mobil med 4-tums skärm och drag från toppmodellen One X.

HTC väljer alltså att återuppliva det gamla Desire-namnet när det presenterar en ny mobil i mellanklassen. Med tanke på att det var just Desire-serien som gav HTC sådana stora framgångar så är det kanske inte så konstigt att man vill försöka använda sig av namnet igen, särskilt som försäljningen inte gått så bra i år av övriga mobiler. Även om mobilen i formspråket lånar mycket från One-serien så handlar det om en ny mobil i mellanklassen vilket innebär relativt modesta specifikationer.
