Amerikanska Epic har idag släppt Epic Games Store för Android och IOS. Den alternativa appbutiken erbjuder till en början endast Fortnite, Rocket League Sideswipe samt nya titeln Fall Guys, men Epic planerar att låta andra utvecklare publicera både spel och appar i butiken i framtiden.

Epics mobilspel släpps även i tredjepartsbutiken Altstore Pal. I sitt tillkännagivande kritiserar företaget Apple och Google för att jättarna anses göra det onödigt komplicerat och avskräckande att installera alternativa appbutiker.
