Linus Torvalds, som programmerade Linux-kärnan i början av 90-talet, skräder inte orden. Han har tidigare pekat finger och sagt ”fuck you” åt Nvidia och nu har Torvalds gått hårt åt utvecklarna bakom Googles nya kalenderapp för Android.

Alla har som bekant inte varit nöjda med nya appen som tidigare saknade funktioner som sjudagars veckovy och veckonummer, något som nyligen åtgärdades. Som kuriosa kan vi nämna att Torvalds inte heller var belåten med appen tidigare.

Han gratulerar nu utvecklarna i ett inlägg på Google+ för att de slutat med drogerna och tagit sitt förnuft till fånga.

But then the drugs wore off, and finally somebody seems to have realized that the whole point of a calendaring application is actually to be useful in a world where you interact with all those odd old-fashioned people who still think that a week has a boring seven days.

Guys, you looked immensely stupid there for a while. But today I got a calendar update, and the weeks are seven days again, and pinch-to-zoom works again.

I congratulate you on getting off the bad drugs, and not looking quite as f*cking stupid as you did there for several months.
