Med tanke på att KitKat är mer resurssnålt än föregående versioner av Android och är tänkt att flyta på telefoner med bara 512MB arbetsminne är det en något oväntad anledning. Det bör i så fall vara TouchWiz och Samsungs egna applikationssvit som tar upp för mycket minne för att resultatet ska bli acceptabelt.

Vi känner inte till någon smartphone från första halvan av 2012 som fått officiell KitKat, så det är i vilket fall inte ovanligt att så gamla enheter blir utan Android 4.4.
